Animal Wisdom (pyrography) 2008-2013
A series of pyrography drawings on wood, delicately painted with highly diluted oil colours to create a soft, almost watercolour-like effect. Created between 2008 and 2013, these works mark the end of a chapter in my artistic practice. Soon after, I began tattooing, and many of these recurring themes, mythical creatures, animals and flowing hair found a new life through skin.
